The Saudi Taekwondo Federation is the only sponsor of this game in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It was established in 1976 under the name of the Saudi Karate, Taekwondo and Judo Federation. In 2000 AD, karate was separated from taekwondo and judo to become the Saudi Judo and Taekwondo Federation.

The Federation annually organizes more than (30) championships of various degrees across the regions and governorates of the Kingdom for men and women. It also holds training courses for referees and coaches for both sexes under the umbrella of the Ministry of Sports, as well as other external courses.

The Saudi Super Cup tournament is the conclusion of the sports season, during which the winners of all tournaments are honored, and the General Excellence Cup is handed over to the team with the most championships, in addition to hosting major international tournaments.

The Federation supervises more than one hundred government clubs, attended by a large number of officials, media figures, and board members.
